Coupon Monday.... VALID THROUGH 10/4/10

First, a little explanation!

Most of you have it down, BUT, a lot of you are still confused. So, if you are the ones who follow my blog and want to use the Coupon Monday, but think you can't because you came in on Wednesday, you are the ones I am talking about! Here's a little explanation!

1. A coupon goes out every Monday (I have been trying to post them on Sunday p.m. for your convenience though)

2. They are valid for one week!

3. You don't have to shop JUST on Monday to take advantage of this offer!

4. ALTHOUGH, (if) you do come in to shop on Monday, the "Coupon Monday" for the week before AND the Newly Posted "Coupon Monday" are BOTH valid and can be used that day.

Hope this helps!

With that in mind..........

** a $2.00 charge will be applied on all items gift wrapped that coupon has been used on or any other discount**

Since the market, we’ve been busy preparing for Gaucho Farms Fall Field Days.

We’ll show you around and have some samples to try.
Take a hayride down to the pond and enjoy a surprise or two there.

If I had a dollar.......

bird bracelet1

for every time someone commented on this bracelet.........................................

bird bracelet2

I just might have become a millionaire awhile back!

I came across this bracelet a couple of years ago on ETSY. I loved it! On the right hand column of the screen it had an "email to a friend" option. So I just did that. I emailed it to a friend! My best friend...aka my hubby, with a sweet little note that said "this would be really nice in my Christmas stocking!" {Hey, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do right ?!?!}

Well, I had misplaced ALL info on the artist and SOOOOOO many people would ask about this bracelet EVERY TIME I would wear it! I searched and searched and FINALLY 2 years later........ FOUND HER! So of course viewing her site again I found something I liked and emailed my friend and said "this would be a nice little anniversary present!"

The funny thing is, she didn't follow instructions and sent it to our home address instead of his work address. Tim headed out of town a few weeks ago for 3 weeks and the day after he left, this arrived......

bee bracelet

I won't repeat what he said, because we are a children's blog; but let's just say he was a little annoyed! I can't say I was! I told him it was a nice ("thinking of you") happy from him. Which of course meant in his mind... "now what am I going to get her??".

He did a great job on his own! He wanted to find something earthy looking for the fall.....

Mission accomplished!

Mission accomplished for you too.... Molly is not interested in selling wholesale to me because she is way to busy with her etsy shop. Check her out here!

Discouraged......

what does it me...... I found myself in a state of discouragement today and the words from Oswald Chambers jumped out of the page of my devotional.....

"The Unsurpassed Intimacy of Tested Faith"
Every time you venture out in your life of faith, you will find something in your circumstances that, from a commonsense standpoint, will flatly contradict your faith. But common sense is not faith, and faith is not common sense. In fact they are as different as the natural life and the spiritual. Can you trust Jesus where your common sense cannot trust Jesus Christ? Can you venture out with courage on the words of Jesus Christ, while the realities of your commonsense life continue to shout, "It's all a lie"? When you are on the mountaintop, it's easy to say, "Oh yes, I believe God can do it, "but you have to come down from the mountain to the demon-possessed valley and face the realities that scoff at your Mount-of-Transfiguration belief(see Luke 9:28-42). Every time my theology becomes clear to my own mind, I encounter something that contradicts it. As soon as I say, "I believe 'God shall supply all [my] need,'" the testing of my faith begins (Philippians 4:19). When my strength runs dry and my vision is blinded, will I endure this trial of my faith victoriously or will I turn back in defeat?
Faith must be tested, because it can only become your intimate possession through conflict. What is challenging your faith right now? The test will either prove your faith or it will kill it. Jesus said,"Blessed is he who is not offended because of Me" (Matthew 11:6). The ultimate thing is confidence in Jesus. "We have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end..." (Hebrews 3:14). Believe steadfastly on Him and everything that challenges you will strengthen your faith. There is continual testing in the life of faith up to the point of our physical death, which is the last great test. Faith is absolute trust in God-trust that could never imagine that He would forsake us (see Hebrews 13:5-6).
Lord, forgive me in my times of unbelief..... and thank you for showing me in your word that you would never forsake me. That you have defeated death and given me life and a sword to fight victoriously.

Weekend recap......

So, I have been looking at this face on my brother's facebook page and couldn't stand it any longer....

fall and labor day 118

Tim's been a travelin' once again, so when he came back I asked him if he could get back in the car and take us to Mobile!

I am so glad he agreed because I couldn't wait to squeeze this little girl....

fall and labor day 117

She is growing so much and I want her to know her Aunt Katie! I have ruled she is not allowed to go more then a month before seeing me :) (we'll see how that goes! So far so good!)

There was some others that couldn't wait to see her as well......

fall and labor day 099

We had fun watching the Braves, Auburn Football, Swimming and Grilling out! I hate I didn't bring my camera as we headed to a local Flea Market after Church on Sunday. I love flea markets!!

It might be a good thing I left my camera, because if I could show you what I saw there you might respond with the same response Elizabeth did when a lady showed her her eyeball-less dog. Although you might have wanted to see the Monkey the owner was parading around in a stroller that bit Elizabeth's finger (no blood, thank the Lord!)! It's hard to keep Elizabeth from petting ANY animal (obviously....a Monkey...REALLY!), I may have told you before that I see plastic surgery in her future, she just doesn't understand the danger side!

I did find a couple of neat things; one of which my sister-in-law snatched up for $2.50 that probably was the cutest apron you have ever seen!

My favorite find were these......

boxwoods

I love flea market plants! Especially when they have a price tag of $1.00-$6.00! I bought these with the shop in mind, but some how they ended up on my front porch!

Between Swimming, Playing the Wii (like 12 hours!), and toting Miss Camille around all weekend my girls woke up pretty sore this morning. As Jillian was getting ready in the bathroom this a.m. she told me she was so sore she could hardly move. I told her softball practice will help her tonight..she is dreading it and told me she didn't think so. She also told me she was pretty disappointed that her Wii fit age was 40..... FORTY MOM!! She's so dramatic!

This came in right before the wonderful weekend we had......
