don't worry, mine doesn't either! In fact, I would have to say this is abnormal, and even go to the extreme of saying that this closet doesn't belong to anyone (especially a child!)! But, it does serve a purpose, because when I see pictures like this it inspires me to clean and organize my closets!

Let me give you another inspiration to cleaning out your closets......

Starting this Thursday, April 29,2010 we will be starting a clothing drive to benefit these two Ministries in Dothan.

Wiregrass Hope Group is in need of baby items, specifically 0-3 mos and 3-6mos clothing for boy and girl! Please click on their name to visit their website. I can not possibly praise them enough for their selfless acts of love they give to thousands in our community. So please take the time to read about them. I pray you will be touched and the Holy Spirit will move in you to give where He is leading you!

The Dothan Rescue Mission is another ministry that provides for the needs of our community members. They have been Clothing, Feeding, Sheltering and most importantly sharing the Gospel with needy families in the Wiregrass for over 30 years. Again please click their name to visit their website.

As a thank you and for a little bit more reason to jump start on your spring cleaning we will be offering 20% Off your entire purchase with us (regular priced items), when you drop your donated items off with us!! This clothing drive will start Thursday, April 29, 2010 and will go through Saturday, May 15,2010! If you do not have time to "clean it all out" please just drop off a few things (you know, that Rubbermaid that you've been avoiding under that bed!) any and all is needed! Weekend Recap......

What a whirl wind of a week last week was! If I haven't mentioned, Tim, myself AND the girls are playing softball this season so most every evening of the week is spent at the ball fields (sound familiar to any of you???)! Tim was out of town last week for business and after the girl's Friday night game we headed north to meet him and to visit the cousins for a birthday party!

I left my camera in the car (of course) as the girls ice skated at the party! Their cousin Hannah turned 9 on April 15th (I know the date isn't that important, but I think it kind of comical that my CPA brother's first child was born (not induced) on Tax day) and all she talked about the last few months was an ice skating party!

After the party we headed back to the farm to play a little softball, swim, play the wii and Elizabeth's favorite....gather eggs from these.....

Elizabeth was never too far from the hen house! Every thirty minutes or so you would see her running through the field with hands in the air holding two eggs screaming "Hey y'all, I got two more!" Sometimes she would say "I got two more AND they're hot!" Oh my!

My brother has chickens, horses, a cat and two dogs, one of which is a feisty little booger who keeps those chickens in line! Meet Bear......

Bear stands a whooping 8" (inches people!) tall and is quite possibly the smallest full grown dog I have ever seen! We find it hysterical that as the chicken's venture into the pool yard Bear is the one to put them in their place and send them back to grazing in the pasture!

Before Hannah turned 9 years old, we had a nice little stair step going on....

We had 10,9,8,7,6 and 5! All the others will soon be the next digit up and will bring it back to order!

This picture was taken outside the hospital for my grandfather who is in ICU. The children were not allowed in so we took pictures of them to send into his room for him to see.

If you think about it will you please lift him up in prayer. He is not doing well. He is in pain and has pneumonia, a mass on his lung (we are waiting for the results from the biopsy) and a few other complications. A couple of my brothers and myself were able to visit him Sunday.

We call him Daddy Bill (aka: Bill Gunter), he is a believer and will be 90 this September, so if it not be the Lord's will to heal him on this earth, we pray a quick home coming to be with Jesus!

How sweet it is to know this home on earth is only temporary "housing" for us!

We headed home Sunday afternoon to start another full week!

back at the ranch.........

we have been busy little bees...our friend, told us about a wonderful book! After reading it, and some inspiration from some friends, we decided this spring we would plant a garden! We wanted to give our girls the FULL experience (as in start with SEEDS...yikes!) so we headed down to one of our most FAVORITE PLACES to go! Well, 4 weeks later it was time to plant......













these are just a few of our goodies we've planted!

We even bought a few citrus trees....





While I was in the yard, I decided to snap a few shots of what's blooming and turning green...









While I was snapping pics, I heard lots of laughter behind me.....apparently, Emily was driving in circles under our zip-line in the girls Power Wheels Jeep while Elizabeth was going down it and was timing it just right to drop into the Jeep from the air.......




She made it! And had fun doing it too!

Weekend Recap......

Where do I even begin! Here is a QUICK recap of our Easter weekend~

Let's start with Saturday because no pictures of Friday, though it was GREAT to be out of school! We had a wonderful Friday and yet again got to explain to one of our girls (can you guess!) why Good Friday is Good to us Christians even though to her she thought it should be named Sad Friday, because of what happened to Jesus that day.

Saturday a.m. we headed to our church's annual Easter Story Time and Egg Hunt......

The Children sure did take off and not only peeked in the bushes for eggs but did a little bit of this for an egg as well.......

One of the "hiders" observed our little monkey and said laughing..."we thought they would just shake the tree..but no, not Lizzy!".. She did get it...in fact, that was the second tree she climbed for an egg!

It was so much fun with snacks and games and kite flying too!!!

We headed home and the girls helped me cook and set the table for our Easter celebration the next day! My mom brought me some tulips (I love tulips!) and so it was easy, fun and simple to get this table together with the help of my three amigos!

The next morning we awoke the girls and all looked out our window and saw this.....

My oldest looked at me and said.."this is EXACTLY the way I imagined in my head it looked like the Easter morning when the women went to the tomb!... My thoughts exactly! It was something special for sure out side Sunday morning! As if the fog was the grieving for what had happened just a few days before! And the sunshine, the reminder of the rising of our Savior!

It didn't take long for the sun to come out after that and shine it did! This is a quick attempt to capture a few snaps with the camera before heading to church after jumping out of the car (because we were already buckled and ready to go!)......

After we stuffed ourselves full of yummy food, we enjoyed playing outside with family and friends!

speaking of softball......let the games begin! Tim, the girls and myself are playing, so we hit the field just about every night of the week! It's crazy busy, but WE.LOVE.IT.!

Monday morning came quickly and met me with some adorable surprises!!!!
