Ok, so our cold weather is finally here! So, you may not be thinking of wearing things like this.....

or even this......

But Spring Fever is hitting us here at the shop!

Spring fever is also starting to hit my home as I want to CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!

Christmas decor is going down tonight! Although I will miss this......

this.....

this....

and this...

Though I can honestly say, that I am ready to stop hearing ornaments randomly trickling down the tree limbs and hitting the floor several times a day as my dying Christmas tree's limbs start to head in the vertical direction and shed it's needles!

Something else shed a little today..... this morning I took a little time to give the girls an early spring trim......

Hitting the 2 year mark on growing my snail speed hair out......sigh....these cuts make me want to chop chop chop! What to do, what to do??

We will be closing at 2pm tomorrow, New Year's Eve so I can celebrate with my family and have a send off party for my oldest brother and his family of 10 as they head off to Kenya for 2 years!

Happy New Years Everyone! As you are blessed beyond measure, tested and tried beyond belief and loved more than life in the upcoming year, may we not forget that His Mercies are new every morning, and that we have much to be thankful for as we praise the God who saves, provides our every need and holds us in the palm of His hands. Thanks be to God!

Boy, Oh Boy!

First, before I start this post about something totally different, let me start by saying, thanks for all the emails (don't be ever shy to post a comment on the blog!) about what you think I should do with my hair! If I had a "blushed face" clip art option on this blog I would add it, because you all were so super sweet with your comments! So far though, the yes(es) are far out-numbering the no(s)....everyone especially votes pic #3 look. Those pictures are just examples though, and though I really like #3 myself; I should say that the short bangs will be the only change I will be making {as in, I will not being dying my hair brown or black...not this time anyway. OR getting those rockin' lip piercings!!}...Not too late to send me your opinion, if I get it done it will be when I get back from market next week!


Speaking of that fun occasion........

Spring times a comin'......

Spring time is fast approaching! Buds are starting to appear on trees and bushes, and the pollen... oh the pollen! We have already started enjoying this beautiful weather by playing outside and starting the prep work for our garden! We have been wanting to have a garden for awhile now but didn't have a good spot for it in our yard until now! Remember the tree house . Well, when we took the top part of the tree down it created {boo coodles} (not even sure how to spell that phrase!! LOL) of sunshine! Remember Tim and Sally . They can give you lots of ideas and details to grow your garden!! We will be using their help for sure!! Pictures to follow in the next couple of days!!!
