Fun projects..........

before opening the store I did a lot of crafts and sewing projects, but that is also when my little ones were younger and my days had nap time involved and no homework and school projects to do. I still love to do those things and make time when I can for the larger projects. I starting thinking about projects I could do with my girls that were less time consuming. It's not hard to enjoy pink and red in a house full of girls. Hope you enjoy this little project....cost....about $3.00
step1.a
Step 1. use one of your heart shape cookie cutters
step 2.a
Step 2- trace cutter onto felt sheets (depending on size you should get about 8 per sheet)
step 3.a
Step 3- have your little princess (or prince) cut out shapes (note: my child did not use these VERY large and dangerous scissors to cut these hearts. Most of this project was done before I took pictures so had to re-create the first steps:) )
step 5.a
This is what you will need!
step 4.a
Step 4- an assembly line works great! Adult use hot glue gun and pass it on down!
step 6.a
THEN..... I FORGOT A HUGE PART OF THIS POST!
TAKING A PICTURE OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT FOR YOU!
SO...... below was my first idea about the garland. This was in the fall, but I didn't have a leaf cookie cutter so I used 2 different size star cutters. I also used colors around my kitchen so it would match (I am a little OCD about my decorations :) ).

I left this "fall" garland up through the Christmas holidays as well!
And decided it was so fun and easy, we would create it in another room!

Have fun with your imagination (and don't forget to include the kiddos in it), these cut outs are FAR from perfect, but that's what makes them special!
back soon with a BIG project we have been working on!!
