I sat down to start a post with mucho pictures. And while I was waiting on all the pictures that decided they wouldn't load, I popped over here while I waited.
Which inspired me to go clean our bedroom. It is not what she describes in her post at all.
It has always been my dream to have a bed and linens like this.......
or this.....
or this.......
or this....
or this....
or this....
or this....
and this....especially the brick wall....
I truly feel what she describes about this room, being true; but why is the master bedroom the LAST room to get finished. It should be the first....period. We don't have a treadmill or a television in there, so I feel like I'm off to a good start....
I am inspired to do something about this. Are you with me?

Be still my heart, those rooms are DREAMY! And...my bedroom is anything but. Sigh. It is clean, but we have a TV in there. No treadmill...though the thought has crossed my mind of how nice it would be to have one. But,I am thankful for a comfy bed, after all most of the world does not have one to sleep on. I keep trying to have perspective when reading blogs with dreamy, perfectly decorated houses. After all, the only thing we really need is Jesus. I'd rather have Him, then a pretty house any day. So, I'm learning to be content in an empty house. Maybe in Glory I'll have gold linens.;) In the mean time I'll be thankful for my knockoff Egyptian cotton. lol!!
This "go-round" we are tackling the master first...and we are almost finished!
Just finished mine! Love it went almost completely neutral with Restoration hardware Linen bedding and my 2 accents were burnt orange sitting chairs. It's super peaceful and I may never let my children in to visit again! They may not want to since there is no treadmill or tv:)
