It started out with Elizabeth's End of Year Splash Party....
Then on to check out the older girls from school to visit cousins......
Of course from previous posts, you know Elizabeth's favorite thing to do there.....
GATHER THE EGGS!
This was taken early Saturday morning when we discovered these Hens like to "lay" in the afternoon...hence the empty basket and the disappointed face!
We spent the WHOLE Saturday doing this......
On our way to visit the cousins, we stopped in Ozark (hometown) to drive the girls by the house I grew up in, sorry no pics, didn't think about taking out the camera!
As we were driving back to Hwy 231, we drove by the Red Barn Yard Sale, which has been around for so long, I remember going as a child. In fact, I still have things I bought there before Tim and I got married, like the old trunk I purchased below for a coffee table 12 years ago for $10......
We hit the jack pot and arrived at 1:50pm when they were closing down for the day. Saturday was to be there last day until October, so I received everything at 1/2 off.......
I purchased several needed things like, an omelet maker, framed bulletin board, bags and bags of moss and then my most favorite.....
This precious pair of bird salt and pepper shaker....the best part 50 cents! Along with these enamel cups and ladle for 25 cents each!
These things make me smile :)

I really love the clothes you sale. Do you ever think you will get an on-line store up?
Very tempting with the economy the way it is, but I have never really wanted to "sit behind the desk", which is what the online side would require a lot of me.
